siempre condenados a lo más difícil y el club
está siendo vigilado por las autoridades desde
hace un tiempo. El futuro es incierto. Las manifestaciones
de los productores »music will continue
« y »the spirit is still alive« hacen pensar
que la tranquilidad reinará de nuevo en 2009 -
Por lo menos en lo que respecta con los conflictos
frente a las autoridades.

Das DC 10 ist und bleibt eine einzigartige Institution
auf der Insel! Kein VIP, kein Geglitzer und
keine Pauschaltouristen – es geht um Minimal,
Tanz und Spaß. Die besten haben es allerdings
oft am schwersten und seit längerem haben die
Behörden ein besonderes Auge auf den Club geworfen.
Die Zukunft ist unklar. Die Bekundungen
der Macher »Music will continue« und »the spirit
is still alive« lassen hoffen, dass in 2009 wie
wieder Ruhe einkehrt – zumindest in der Auseinandersetzung
mit den Behörden.

It looks like DC10 unfortunately remains closed this year!

DC 10 is a club unlike any other in Ibiza. No VIPs,
no glittering lights and no mass produced attractions
aimed at tourists. Here it’s all about dancing
and fun where the mantra is less is more.
Oftentimes the best things in life have a hell of a
time and DC 10 is no exception with the local authorities
keeping a very close watch on the club.
The future is uncertain but the owners have assured
us that the »music will continue« and that
»the spirit is still alive.« Let’s hope that the matter
with the authorities gets taken care and that
a bit of normalcy returns in 2009.
